Within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between RCICT and The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) in the State of Kuwait, A virtual workshop was held through the visual communication technology platform (Zoom) the workshop was lead by Ms. Amina Al Qurainis representing the Capacity Building Team RCICT and as a member of the research team which includes Dr. Jaflah Al-Ammary (College of Information Technology at the University of Bahrain), and Dr. Lamia Al-Kooheji (Al-Kooheji Training and Education Management) and Dr. Abdulghani Al-Hatami (Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain). In the virtual workshop, the results of the study on "Studying the Digital Textbook" which was attended by 30 people consisting of educators, curriculum specialists and technologists who design textbooks countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council member states and Yemen. After extensive discussions, the working group recommended that this study establish a clear framework for the digital transformation in the curricula of the member states of RCICT, and the urgent implementation of this transformation was needed.
