Develop and implement qualitative training programs that promote creativity, innovation and practical applications of information and communication technology, in order to build professional capacities and encourage the development and dissemination of Arabic digital content, concerned with achieving the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals
Assessing Needs and Finding Solutions
Designing and developing tools and systems that support the quality of programs, for example: an electronic registration system for training programs and the issuance of digital certificates, in addition to tools for measuring the impact of training programs and questionnaires for training requirements.

Virtual Reality in Unity© 3D


The training program aims to spread the culture of development and innovation by presenting the concept of virtual reality and its characteristics, in addition to introducing the Unity 3D program in order to design and implement a virtual reality environment with an educational purpose based on brainstorming and timeline methods.

 

Designing and Publishing E-book


This training program aims to enhance trainees’ cognitive skills and practical implementation required to develop and publish an e- book using the available and appropriate authoring tools. The training program introduces trainees to the concept and characteristics of an e-book and then develops the practical steps necessary to create an e-book with its various components.

 

Preparing online training materials


This program provides trainees with the scientific foundations and concepts related to online training content design and production through implementing (ADDIE) training design, general model and its five stages. In addition to practical applications that highlight how to design and produce an online trainee's guide.

 

Applications in technology for educational support professions


This training program aims to familiarize trainees with touch screen devices, their concept, types, and importance, as well as the pros and cons of using these devices and employing them inthe educational process, work, and life. In addition, the program illustrates a general overview of the STEAM concept and its various applications.

 

Standards for producing digital educational content


This training program aims towards improving trainees’ skills in digital educational content production and the ability to ensure efficiency & quality in produced content in both educational and technical aspects. In addition, trainees will be familiarized with digital educational content production standards mentioned in the guide in a way that best matches the Kingdom of Bahrain local attributes and in line with international standards.

 

Interactive data visualization and analytics by using Microsoft Power BI


A training program using one of Microsoft's applications “Power BI” which is a set of statistical analysis tools that facilitate handling data and display the results in attractive visualizations. The application offers a working interface which allows basic users to handle it with ease. It also has the advantage of being able to connect to a number of data sources as it provides an easy mechanism to import data from them.

 

Infographic; concept & design basics


The training program aims to develop trainees' skills and knowledge competencies to produce infographics according to specific standards. Through infographic, data can be expressed visually in a simpler and less complex manner, to achieve specific goals.

 

Sustainable Development Goals 2030


To familiarize trainees with the United Nations Organization, systems, and agencies, as well as the importance of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, in particular the fourth goal - aims and means. Trainees would be able to give proposals and recommendations to achieve the aims of the fourth goal.

 

Cloud Computing Applications


The training program aims to introduce trainees to the cloud computing concept and its characteristics, types of services, as well as the most famous cloud service providers, in addition to the advantages and opportunities of effective cloud computing in education. Participants will be trained on some cloud computing applications in education.

 

NETWORK FUNDEMENTAL


By the end of this program, trainees will be able to identify the different types of networks, have a better understanding on how networks work and how computers communicate in a network. Trainees will be able to create a Local Area Network (LAN), use different classes of IP addresses and ping between computers in the same network and between different networks with different IP Addresses.

 

Education for Sustainable Development


This program aims to support the inclusion of "Education for Sustainable Development" within educational and training practices in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in particular and the region in general, the program focuses on reorienting education for sustainable development, in support of UNESCO projects such as the “Education for Sustainable Development project” for example, “The United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development to the Global Program of Action” which covers different time periods, and the “Framework for Education to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030”.

 

Education for Global Citizenship


The program aims to reinforce the values, attitudes and behaviors that support responsible global citizenship among learners both locally and globally. As well as enhancing individuals' sense of belonging and loyalty, spreading peace in society in general and in the educational environment while rejecting violence. The program offers concepts, topics and methods in addition to appropriate strategies for implementing the concept of education for global citizenship in the educational environment with an educational and effective framework. 

 

Training for Sustainable Learning/Educational Leadership (Online


The program aims to demonstrate effective lesson standards in educational situations and how to properly integrate them with ISTE standards by teachers. The program focuses on clarifying the general framework for positive classroom management, educational competencies, and the foundations of students' questions for learning. Exploring ways of employing differentiation to support learners and assessment effectively and integrating them with technology effectively, describing the basics of developing higher-order thinking skills for learners, and a comparison between ISTE standards and how they relate to the standards of a good lesson.

 

Training for Sustainable Learning/Educational Construction (Online)


The program aims to provide the trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the standards of a good lesson more effectively in educational situations, taking into account the integration of ISTE standards and digital tools through the statement of ISTE standards that are related to the standards of a good lesson, describing methods and procedures for managing students’ behavior effectively, managing time productively and raising student motivation towards learning, distinguishing types of educational competencies, success criteria and performance indicators, clarifying ways to motivate students to ask questions for learning, explaining differentiated education strategies and the procedures for integrating them with technology in education, comparing assessment for learning and assessment as learning, and clarifying strategies for developing higher-order thinking skills among students. This program targets experienced teachers, senior teachers, experienced specialists, senior specialists, group leaders and department heads.

 

Training for Sustainable Learning/Educational Establishment (Online)


The program aims to provide trainees with the basic knowledge and skills for classroom management and the standards required for a good lesson, which are represented by classroom management fundamentals, planning effective learning objectives, The skill of formulating questions to learn, ways to meet students’ needs by taking into account the differentiation between them, assessment for learning, and planning to achieve better outcomes. The program targets new teachers.

 

Basic concepts in Intellectual Fortification Skills (Online)


The program aims to provide trainees with knowledge and skills related to the concept of moderation, types of electronic terrorism, and the role teachers play in promoting moderation and avoiding deviant thought and electronic terrorism among students.
