Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Resources and Services, received Mr. Mohammed Mihoub, Sales Manager of Kalimat Publishing Group in the United Arab Emirates, who briefed the Undersecretary on the services offered by the Group in publishing and distributing books and producing electronic applications, aiming to encourage young people to read in Arabic in a more interesting way. During the meeting, cooperation means were discussed between the ministry and the publishing group; the Undersecretary stressed the ministry's keenness to enhance students' reading skills by participating in many local and foreign events and competitions; he also praised the efforts exerted by Sheikha Budoor Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, founder and CEO of the Group. The Undersecretary also expressed the Ministry's interest in cooperation due to the positive impact such cooperation would yield to, by enriching the learning resource centers in schools and knowledge resources centers, thus enhancing students' reading skills . The meeting was attended by Mrs. Nawal Al Khater, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Information, and Mrs. Hala Mustafa, Acting Director of the Regional Center for Information and Communication Technology.
