Acting Director of the Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology, Dr. May Shamandy, participated in a coordination meeting with the Director of the Regional Center for Educational Planning, Ms. Mahra Al Mutaiwee, to define the frameworks for partnership and cooperation between the two centers to prepare for the regional workshop "Quality Standards for Distance Education" to be held during the coming period. The upcoming workshop will cover a presentation of the most important regional and international experiences and studies concerned with distance education policies, in addition to exploring the main role that distance education quality standards play while ensuring its quality and meeting the needs of students and educational systems, especially in light of the repercussions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
