A second introductory meeting was held at the Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology on the use of online learning tools and the use of teaching and learning strategies in virtual classrooms, the online meeting was held on the communication platform (Microsoft Teams), the number of attendees for this meeting reached four thousand participants some of which included teachers and middle and senior leaders from various public schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain. the meeting focused on three main axes: Types of learning for students, the development of lessons and short tests featured in the eduNET educational portal and how to employ them in teaching, learning and the evaluation processes, and lastly the application of teaching and learning strategies in virtual classrooms using the (Microsoft Teams) platform and educational lessons on the eduNet portal for the development of student learning. This meeting was held due to the keenness of the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain to introduce the latest developments on some of the characteristics of the educational portal, which in turn will enhance the performance of teachers during the teaching, learning and evaluation process in an effective manner.
